My story – Part 2

So I went ahead with the wisdom teeth operation with all the answers about my condition from Dr Google. To be honest, there wasn’t much on there except for loads of studies from American doctors. Should I save up and go there for hormone treatment? No, I was too busy partying, being stuck in a situationship and spending my 13k a year salary at New Look. Not exactly the big bucks!!

I soon stopped taking the pill because reading the side effects is scary, and never heard from the NHS again about my condition. I did have questions every time I went to the GP…. “how are your periods?” Did they not read my file? I had to explain to every doctor and nurse that I have a diagnoses, a puzzled look on their face and a ton of questions from them. From them to me!!! A health professional asking a 20 something with barley a GCSE in Science.
